Growth Leaders Award 2024: What Is It About?

Growth Leaders Award 2024: What Is It About?

The Growth Leaders Award 2024 is an acknowledgment given to Italian companies that stand out for their revenue growth and their contribution to the development of the country.

The ranking is prepared by the daily newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with Statista, a provider of statistical and market data active in 150 countries.

After winning the Growth Champions Award 2024, Univiti confirms its victory by also winning this recognition and placing among the top 500 selected Italian companies.

But what is the Growth Leaders award and how are the winning companies chosen? Let's find out together.

What Are the Growing Companies?

The Growth Leaders Award by Il Sole 24 Ore rewards companies, including small ones, capable of competing in the European market and that have stood out for their revenue growth in the last three years (CAGR).

The 2024 edition of the competition awards a list of 500 companies that have achieved the highest growth rate from 2019 to 2022.

The growth rate calculation is based on:

  • Increase in revenue
  • Increase in the number of employees.

All companies, to compete for the victory, must meet minimum requirements.

The reference parameters are:

  • Fall within a minimum size
  • Have had revenue growth on an organic basis
  • Be an independent company.

These criteria reflect the company's commitment not only to expansion but also to being a growth engine for the national economy.

How Does the Selection Process Work?

Statista makes a selection of 8000 relevant companies from research on databases and public business registers.

These companies are then invited to compete through self-nomination, submitting growth data, revenue data, and all relevant information to win the final award.

A committee examines all applications and ultimately decrees the ranking, which can be viewed on the Il Sole 24 Ore website.

This recognition is yet another result of the hard work and constant commitment we put into our sector.

Our success would not have been possible without the support of our employees, our customers, and our business partners. We want to thank everyone who contributed to this achievement.

These awards represent for us an encouragement to always do better. We will continue to invest in innovation, in the quality of our products, and in customer service to meet the constantly evolving needs of the market.
